臺南市立圖書館為一座開放、包容、交流與溝通的場域，除了總體形象識別外，手心也為其打造了全新的、擁有獨特個性的吉祥物角色——蛙寶。除了對外的展演活動都能見到蛙寶的身影外，更化身借閱機與大小朋友互動，為原本書香與人文並存的空間，添上一抹活潑生動的色彩。
Tainan Public Library is a free, tolerant, and communicative field. In addition to the overall identify design, we have created a brand new and unique mascot－Wa Bao. You can meet Wa Bao in public performances, also can interact with Wa Bao through the borrowing machine. It increases a lively power to the originally literary sense of the Tainan Public Library.
與臺南市圖書館同位於永康的三崁店糖廠，是國內最重要、最大的諸羅樹蛙棲息地，諸羅樹蛙靈動的外型和充滿活力的嘹亮叫聲，無疑是圖書館的最佳代言人。因此我們以樹蛙的形象，創造出了蛙寶的角色雛形。
Tainan Public Library is located in SAN,KAN-DIAN sugar refinery in Yongkang, Tainan. It is the most important and largest habitat of Rhacophorus arvalis in Taiwan. The dexterous appearance and energetic sound of Rhacophorus arvalis are undoubtedly the best spokesperson for this library. Therefore, we use the image of the tree frog as the model of Wao Bao.
背景設定蛙寶是一個喜愛旅遊的小小部落客，最常帶著寵物蝸牛，在美麗、閒適的台南到處探索，他不斷發現新的美食、街道、風景，並拍攝、記錄於書本中；除了旅遊外，蛙寶也是一名博學多聞的小小藏書家，家中的藏書不亞於圖書館喔！搭配臺南各個特色景點，我們為蛙寶設定了多套造型，活力滿滿的動作表情除了拉近與民眾的距離外，未來也可以應用於不同的周邊設計，與來往圖書館的民眾創造美好歡樂的記憶。
We set Wao Bao to be a small blogger who loves to travel. It explores the beautiful and leisurely Tainan with its snail. It constantly finds food, streets, and scenery, and photographs and records them in books. Wa Bao is also a knowledgeable bibliophile, its collection of books at home is no less than the library!
To match the various tourist attractions in Tainan, we have set up multiple sets of style for Wao Bao. The energetic expressions can not only shorten the distance with the people, but also can be applied to different peripheral designs to create more happiness memory with the people who visit the Tainan Public Library.
