指標設計 |國立高雄師範大學研究大樓 指標系統設計 NKNU Research Building Wayfinding Design

國立高雄師範大學為台灣重要的師資培育學府之一,也是台灣南部唯一中等學校以上師資培育師範院校,其新建之研究大樓更是校內的學術、人才培育及研究的核心,無數想法在此萌芽;更累積並創造了可觀的研究成果,本 指標設計 以象徵創意與思考的「點」作為概念元素,利用點與點之間的互動以及線的串連,呈現出研究大樓的無限可能,並透過點與線的排列組合出各式圖案,傳遞研究大樓 指標設計 的研究、創新、跨域的三大核心精神。

As one of the important teacher training universities in Taiwan, the new research building is an important place for the creation of many innovative research results.

This project uses “dots”, which symbolize creativity and thinking, as a conceptual element. We use the interaction between dots and the connection of lines to present the infinite possibilities and the three core spirits of research, innovation and interdisciplinary of the research building.

團隊設計制定專屬於研究大樓品牌調性的數字字型與icon 指標設計 系統設計,延伸應用至 指標系統 ,我們認為 指標設計 不只是美觀考量,更應具備識別性、機能性、永續性的特質。所有 指標設計 的設置高度、位置、尺寸皆經過嚴密的計算與實地驗證,確保資訊能以合適的呈現方式在合適的觀看距離被清楚辨別,透過色彩、文字、編排等設計構成區別空間,讓複雜的資訊簡化,讓使用者加速理解,也有效整理統合了不同屬性的訊息。

Our team designed the number font and icon system exclusively for the NKNU research building, and extended to the wayfinding system. We believe that the wayfinding design is not only need to considerate the aesthetic, but also should have the characteristics of identification, function and sustainability.

To ensure that the information can be clearly seen at the appropriate viewing distance and method. All wayfinding setting including height, position and size have been rigorously calculated and field-verified.

Through the design and arrangement of colors and texts make complex information simplified, allowing users to speed up understanding, and effectively organize and information with different attributes.

本次 指標設計 上利用點的排列與線材的組合,創造獨特的標準字體與icon,為整體 指標系統 識別的一大特徵,反映研究大樓中卓越而精準的有形面。手心團隊在極為有限的預算下,選用模組化的沖孔金屬板做為底材,經由反覆實驗並探討解決方案後,挑選防水並具韌性的蠟繩進行編織,利用點與線的多樣變化性,連結出各式icon。可重複使用的材質具有永續性,能串連編織出各種圖形資訊,除傳達研究精神外,也為後續維護發展提供了模組化的解決方案與延伸擴充的無限可能。

The wayfinding design uses the arrangement of dots and the combination of lines to create a unique standard font and icon, which is a major feature of the overall identification. It also presents the excellent and accurate image of the NKNU research building.

With a very limited budget, our team chose a modular metal perforated sheet as the baseboard. After repeated experiments and discussions on solutions, we chose waterproof and flexible wax ropes to weaving, using various changes in dots and lines to create various icons.

Reusable materials are sustainable and can be connected to weave various graphic information. In addition to conveying the spirit of research, it also provides modular solutions and infinite possibilities for extension and maintenance and development.
