日本 Good Design Awards 是亞洲地區最具權威性及影響力的設計獎項,也是世界三大設計獎之一。倡導透過設計解決問題,注重設計對人和社會的意義。
Japan Good Design Award, one of the world’s top three design awards, is the most prestigious in Asia. It emphasizes solving problems through design and considers design’s impact on people and society.

以象徵創意與思考的「點」作為概念元素,利用點與點之間的互動以及線的串連,搭配模組化金屬板,透過蠟繩編織,創造標準字體與icon系統,傳遞研究大樓研究、創新、跨域的三大核心精神。可重複使用的材質具有永續性,也為後續維護發展提供了模組化的解決方案與延伸擴充的無限可能。
Using the “dot,” a symbol of creativity and thought, as a conceptual, this design leverages the interaction between dots and the connecting lines, combined with modular metal panels and waxed rope weaving, to create a standardized font and icon system. It conveys the three core values of the research building: research, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The reusable materials contribute to sustainability, while the modular design offers a flexible solution for future maintenance and development, providing limitless possibilities for expansion.


獲獎作品評語 Evaluation
穿孔金屬板與繩索的結合,創造出簡約且吸引人的資訊導引系統。類似點描的圖標和數字,即便由簡單的直線組成,也能表達出多種設施。另一方面,這種簡約設計使圖像清晰易懂,視覺上作為指標非常合適。不僅實現了成本降低,整個指標系統還展示了研究大樓通過連接點來畫線的方針,以及對創意巧思的追求,確實是一個出色的設計。
The combination of perforated metal plates and ropes creates a simple yet attractive information guide. Pictograms and numbers similar to dot drawings can express a variety of facilities, even though they are a minimal set of straight lines. On the other hand, the simplicity makes the pictures straightforward. It’s great that they are visually appropriate as signs. In addition to realizing cost reduction, the entire sign system shows the research building’s policy of drawing a line by connection dots and pursuit of ingenuity. It is indeed a excellent design.

Emphasizing the visibility of nature, Cao Research Institute focuses on creating emotional connections and experiences with consumers. Its new brand concept, “Natural Protection with Zero Distance,” uses nurturing, humanized illustrations and interactions between people and plants to evoke a sense of warmth and trust, fostering an intimate brand experience.


獲獎作品評語 Evaluation
高品質、細緻的指導體現在插圖和設計中,傳達出產品自然、健康的形象。此外,儘管是身體護理品牌,但這些插圖新穎且令人喜愛,同時展現了品牌所追求的「關懷、自然和專業」的形象。此外,包裝和宣傳材料的溫暖設計突顯了插圖的光彩,這樣一致的系統有效地傳遞了品牌形象。這次的品牌重塑本身也表達了品牌的印象。
High quality, attentive direction is well expressed in the illustrations and design to deliver natural and healthy image of the product. In addition, although expressing human body in the body care brand, these illustrations are new and favorable and also shows the image of “caring, natural, and professional” body care brand which the brand aims for. Moreover, warm design of packaging and promotional materials evoke the brilliance of the illustrations and such a consistent system well delivers the brand image. This rebranding itself expresses the impression of the brand.
