臺南市立圖書館以綠建築形式建構完成，在外觀上充滿藝術性，將臺南在地文化以光柵方式呈現，期望達成與環境共生之目標。因此在進行 週邊設計 時，特別融合在地人文歷史與新的工藝，將傳統與現代之美整合呈現並透過視覺傳遞。
The Tainan Public Library is constructed with a green building. The appearance is full of artistry and present the local culture of Tainan in the form of light gratings, hoping to achieve the goal of symbiosis with the environment.
Therefore, in this merchandise design, the local human history and new craftsmanship are especially integrated, to presented the traditional and modern beauty and transmitted through the visual.
輔助圖形以漸變方塊手法象徵書冊、光影與氣息流動，充滿動態感的曲線變化也勾勒出書冊翻開的形象與充滿生機的生命律動，選用自然建材中象徵木頭的棕褐色，以及象徵知識的深藍色搭配運用，除了呼應綠建築外，也代表著書本內蘊含的知識，沈穩且深厚。
The auxiliary graphics use the gradient square technique to symbolize the books, light and shadow and flow of breath. The dynamic curve also outlines the image of the flipping book and the rhythm of life full of vitality.
The combination of tan color of wood symbolizes wood and dark blue which symbolizes knowledge not only echoes the green building, but also represents the knowledge in the books, calm and profound.
