台酒的純米醋、蘋果醋使用天然原料和菌種,經過陳年釀製,擁有自然熟成的特殊風味,酒窖甕藏獨有的沉香與橡木桶芬芳,用在料理中更是別有一番滋味,我們期待透過此次的包裝設計,賦予這兩支隱藏版的明星商品不一樣的新價值。
Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor Corporation’s pure rice vinegar and apple cider vinegar use natural materials and bacterial strain. After aging, they have a special flavor of natural maturation. The unique agarwood and oak barrel aroma in the wine cellar jug makes it even more unique when used in cooking. We hope that through this packaging design, give these two hot products new values.
甕藏陳米醋經過酒甕熟成三年,擁有濃郁的陳年甕香,用於中式料理尤為適合;樽藏蘋果醋則是由純蘋果汁釀製,清新的蘋果香氣經由威士忌橡木桶儲存三年,溫潤清婉的香氣能為西式料理增添層次,如何中西合璧,讓兩支產品優點各自被凸顯,卻仍能看出為同一系列,是本次設計的挑戰之一。
The rice vinegar has been matured in a wine jug for three years, and has a strong aged jug aroma, which is especially suitable for Chinese cuisine. The apple cider vinegar is brewed from pure apple juice. The fresh apple aroma is stored in whisky jug barrels for three years. The warm, clear and graceful aroma can increase different flavor to Western cuisine. How to combine Chinese and Western so that the advantages of the two products can be highlighted, but they can still be seen as the same series. This is one of the challenges of this packaging design.
經過市面上的競品收集與分析,我們定調了「新東方」的設計主題,將傳統東方感的視覺元素進行轉譯,保有文化韻味的同時,展現不同的個性與色彩,如同產品本身,成熟且獨具風味。以中西方的圖框進行設計:陳米醋使用具中國風的外框凸顯其沈厚、溫潤的口感;蘋果醋則搭配西式風格的圖框,呼應產品清潤、活潑的特色。
After collecting and analyzing competing products on the market, we make sure this design theme “New Oriental Style”, transforming the visual elements of the traditional Oriental, while maintaining the cultural charm, showing different personalities, just like the product, mature and unique. Designed with Chinese Western Fusion: the rice vinegar uses a Chinese frame to highlight its ripe and smooth taste; the apple cider vinegar is matched with a Western frame to echo the its mellow and fresh characteristics.
禮盒設計以「家紋」的概念為發想,搭配手繪感的底紋創造層次感,字體設計也扣緊新東方的設計主題,將穩重方正的書法字體融入飛揚、俐落的頓點與轉折,使整體細膩端正,卻不落於傳統老派的窠臼,搭配燙印工法,呈現精緻的視覺感受,也呼應兩支產品成熟,且富有內涵的風味。
The gift box design with the concept of “Family Crests” and hand-painted shading to create a sense of hierarchy. The font design is also fastened to the design theme of New Oriental Style. The steady and square calligraphy font is integrated into the flying, neat pauses and transitions to make the whole delicate and correct. However, it does not fall into the traditional old-school, with stamping method, it presents an exquisite visual and also echoes the mature and connotative flavors of the two products.
